One thing I learned this year 'You are what you think'. When our mind decides to do something, our body will act upon it, sometimes even unconsciously or subconsciously. Therefore if we wish to achieve something, it is important to sit down and set the goals and plans clearly. You would be surprised how easy your wish can come true sometimes. This is because you have 'pre-conditioned'/'pre-programmed' your mind to achieve it.
A lot of time, we are standing at a cross-road, not knowing what we want and where we are going next. Take time off to think carefully, read books to seek for inspiration, pray for direction, pay attention to things happened around us, observe and think more. Eventually at one point, we will find the answers.
So, do not just wake up and live another day without giving much thought to what difference you can make to the people and the world around you. In fact, everyone has the power to make a difference, if you want to.
Yesterday I saw these two interesting bookmarks on my coffee table. The messages say:
"Make a difference: Go out into the world UNCORRUPTED, a breath of FRESH AIR in this squlid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the LIVING GOD. Carry the light-giving message into the night. - Philippians 2:14-16".
"Discover your life's purpose: Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that... Each of you must take responsibility for doing the CREATIVE BEST you can with your own life. - Galatians 6:4-5".
It makes me think. I like it and think it's inspiring.
